To support their growth, we are looking for a R&D Director (M/F).
Responsibilities
As R&D Director, you report to the Plant Manager and will be defining and implementing the Company's Research and Development strategy. Working closely with the Technical and Sales teams, you will be responsible for product innovation, continuous process improvement and the management of R&D projects, with a direct link to customer needs. You will play a key role in optimizing internal processes and ensuring that the company's R&D objectives are met on time.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Define R&D strategy in line with corporate objectives.
- Supervise R&D projects from conception to implementation.
- Manage a multi-disciplinary team and encourage innovation within the team.
- Identify and integrate new technologies and market trends.
- Collaborate with technical, sales and production departments to align R&D with business and customer needs.
- Manage the budget allocated to R&D activities.
- Ensure that projects comply with current regulations and standards.
- Manage the continuous improvement of existing products and processes.
Profile
- You have a Master's degree in chemistry or equivalent.
- You have at least 3 years of R&D industrial experience.
- You have a good command of written and spoken English (minimum level B1 required).
- You have a good knowledge of Office Software (Excel, Word, etc.).
- You are organized, curious, rigorous, precise and respectful of procedures.
- You are proactive, innovative and creative in your approach to R&D projects.
- You have a critical mind and enjoy working in a team.
