To ensure their strong growth, we are looking for a R&D Test Engineer –Power Electronics (M/F).
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are:
- You will develop the next-generation capacitors focusing on testing and design improvement.
- Build experimental set-ups, conduct tests, and analyze test results, possibly including physical modeling.
- Work with a global R&D team ensuring knowledge sharing, and timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Support the project teams in the installation and execution of tests, measurements and characterizations.
- Plan laboratory activities for the consecution of the team and project goals, as per the guidelines of the company.
- Expertise in relevant equipment and procedures for the testing of power electronic equipment, film capacitors or metalized film.
- Keep laboratory equipment and installations in the right order and status. Alert about deviations.
- Participate to create new ideas and proposals for new R&D projects.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external partners
- Document results in the form of technical reports, presentations, IP etc.
Profile
- Background in dielectrics, HV testing or electrical engineering, BSc or MSc Electrical/Electronics/Electrotechnical Engineering or relevant field equivalent in Electrical testing.
- Ideally minimum of 3 Years of working experience in the field of HV electrical testing.
- Sound analytical skills and experience with planning, conducting and analysis of experiments.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. French would be an advantage.
- Experience in, or ability to develop, project management and planning skills.
