To ensure the growth of ConvEyXO, we are looking for a:
Responsibilities
As an Exosomes Laboratory Technician, you will be working in the development and optimization of processes related to upstream cell culture, downstream exosomes purification, as well as therapeutics loading of exosomes using specialized microfluidics equipment.
Your main responsibilities are :
- Perform downstream processes for exosome purification, including analyses (qPCR, enzymatic and colorimetric assays, fluorescence, particle size measurements) and purification operations (centrifugation, filtration, ultrafiltration).
- Maintain accurate records, ensure traceability, and comply with laboratory practices, safety, and biosafety standards.
- Contribute to the transfer of processes and documentation to external GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) production units.
- Optimize laboratory protocols to improve the process and quality workflows by identifying and resolving issues, managing lab operations (equipment, stock, maintenance), and contributing to the integration of new technologies and processes.
- Perform cell culture experiments for exosome production, including techniques like cryopreservation, aseptic handling, bioreactor use, and culture manipulations (sample transfer, counting, trypsination, microscopy, metabolic analyses).
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- You have 5 years’ experience in mammalian cell culture. Experience with MSC is a strong advantage.
- Experience in a GMP environment (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.
- You have experience in flow cytometry, exosomes production, understand and can perform in vitro assay at the cell level (ELISA, qPCR, MTT).
- You are adaptable, proactive, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- You are enthusiastic, self-motivated, and take ownership of delivering results with a strong work ethic.
- You are fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
