Responsibilities
As a Laboratory Technician, you will support the development of ATB’s innovative therapeutic pipeline through hands-on laboratory work. You will handle laboratory production coordination, contribute to protein purification and process development to help meet the company’s scientific and operational goals.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Coordinate production scale requests and plan workflows accordingly.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of lab operations in collaboration with the Lab Manager.
- Support process development activities aligned with company objectives.
- Apply biochemical methods for candidate screening and molecular characterization.
- Execute experimental procedures including plant culture, protein purification, and analytical assays (e.g. ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blot), demonstrating proficiency in chromatographic techniques (e.g. affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion, AKTA systems).
- Prepare samples for internal and external analyses and maintain accurate sample records.
- Contribute to day-to-day laboratory operations by supporting data generation, ensuring equipment and material readiness, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
- Document all lab activities in compliance with Good Documentation Practices and within the Quality Management System.
Profile
- You hold a degree in biotechnology, biology, or equivalent and have technician experience in an industrial setting.
- You demonstrate at least 5 years of hands-on experience, especially in protein purification and characterization using chromatographic techniques and equipments (e.g. AKTA systems).
- You are meticulous, reliable, and capable of managing multiple experiments in a dynamic environment.
- You communicate clearly and thrive in a collaborative, result-driven team.
- You show adaptability, a strong problem-solving mindset, and eagerness to learn.
- You speak and write English fluently and have a good command of Microsoft Office.
