To complete their IT team in Liege, we are looking for a Head Of IT (M/F).
Responsibilities
As the Head of It, you manage the IT team (12 people) responsible for IT systems across all departments and remote staff based in Fremont, US. You report directly to the Head of Technical Support & Services.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Manage the IT team and ensure the smooth running of department activities.
- Ensure business continuity with respect to IT systems.
- Set up the appropriate IT governance and related KPIs.
- Directly contribute to the vision and plan for IT strategies.
- Define and maintain the cybersecurity policy & continuous improvement plans.
- Manage company-wide IT budget and risks.
- Recommend, assess, and negotiate IT investments, and monitor ROI.
- Manage IT subcontracts and closely monitor subcontractors & consultants.
- Translate business requirements into IT tenders or projects.
- Drive the compliance to applicable standards (ISO, GMP, J-SOX…).
Profile
- You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT with broad knowledge and extensive experience, preferably in biotech or related business.
- You are an inspirational leader, managing, challenging and motivating his/her team with passion & empathy.
- You demonstrate an excellent communication skill, fluent in both French and English, and able to flexibly adapt his/her communication also to non-IT audience.
- You are a seasoned IT professional, experienced with MS environments (workstations, servers, PowerShell, active directory, Azure AD, Office Suite…) and virtualization & backup (VMWare, Veeam). Knowledge of SAP (S/4) is a plus.
- You have an excellent understanding of cybersecurity aspects and Visual Studio programming environment.
- An experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
- You demonstrate a passion to follow industry trends and evolutions in business IT.
