To strengthen their growth, we are currently recruiting a Test & Application Engineer (m/f).


Responsibilities

As Test & Application Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting and analyzing tests on Calyos’ products and systems within a laboratory environment. This role supports the development and validation of new and existing products, ensuring they meet specified performance and quality standards. Working in close collaboration with a Technical Project Manager, you will be focusing your work on one of Calyos’ key market.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Conduct laboratory tests: Perform various tests on Calyos thermal products and systems according to established protocols and standards. Set up and calibrate test equipment and instrumentation.
  • Analyze test data: Collect and analyze data from tests to identify performance characteristics and potential issues. Interpret test results and prepare reports, summarizing findings and providing recommendations.
  • Support development and validation: Assist in the development and validation of new testing procedures and methods. Collaborate with design and development teams to improve product performance and reliability.
  • Perform thermal analysis: support in pre-feasibility thermal analysis and technical support for important customer projects.

Profile

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Engineering or equivalent technical education.
  • A first experience in a laboratory or testing environment would be a plus. Junior applications are welcome.
  • You are familiar with laboratory testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • You feel comfortable with test documentation and report writing.
  • Working knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, heat exchangers, TIMs, etc.
  • You are detail-oriented, analytical, proactive and have excellent communication skills.
  • You are a team player, willing to join a passionate and devoted team.
  • You speak fluently in French. A minimum B2 level of English is required.
