To ensure their strong growth, we are looking for a R&D Engineer (M/F).
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are:
- You will develop the next generation capacitors focusing on the electrical design.
- Lead R&D project or work-package, with structured and target-oriented working style.
- Build experimental set-ups, conduct tests and analyze test results, possibly including physical modelling.
- Work with a global R&D team ensuring a knowledge sharing, timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Closely collaborate with the Power Grids Research organization and with academia.
- Participate to create new ideas and proposals for new R&D projects.
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, customers, suppliers and other external partners.
- Prepare document results in the form of technical reports, presentations, IP etc.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Electrotechnical Engineering or relevant field equivalent in Electrical testing.
- Knowledge in dielectrics, HV testing or electrical engineering.
- Ideally a first experience within industry, with planning, conducting and analysis of experiments.
- Sound analytical skills and experience in, or ability to develop, project management and technical skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. French would be an advantage.
- Bonus if you have experience of modelling & characterization HV devices with solid insulation.
